1787 Straps exclusively offers two-piece leather straps.
Width: 1787 Straps does custom work and it is absolutely possible to order a strap in any size from 14mm to 24mm. Their straps usually have the 2mm taper at the buckle side.
Material: They use reindeer leather for the strap construction and a heavily waxed flax linen thread for the stitching work. It only takes a day or two of wearing the watch for the strap to conform to your wrist.

1787 Straps is a company founded in Iceland in 2017 that specializes in creating watch straps made from Icelandic reindeer leather. The name 1787 Straps refers to the year that the current breed of reindeer was brought to Iceland from Norway and the descendants of the 35 reindeer brought in 1787 live in the highlands in the eastern part of Iceland.
The owner and operator, Eiður Aron Arnarson, is a watch enthusiast who wanted to create something unique, comfortable, and durable. He works closely with the only tannery in Iceland that tans the reindeer leather and ensures that 1787 Straps receives the best leather available. The tannery received the tannery of the year award in 2016 from World Leather Magazine.
